Meet the Counselors

Hello!!! My name is Kelly Delagardelle and I am the school counselor at North Polk Middle School.  This is my third year here at North Polk, but I have been a school counselor since 2005. My wife Edana, daughter Isabella and I have lived in Polk City for seven years.  I am originally from a small town in Northern Iowa, but moved to Ames, Iowa in high school.  I attended Iowa State University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Political Science.  While in college, I volunteered at the nearby elementary and through those opportunities I developed a passion for working with kids.  This brought me to getting my Master’s of Education in Counseling and Administration - all from Iowa State University.
